Chicken hearts are a delicacy that many people simply don't know about. They score an amazing 146 amino acid score, anything above 100 means that it is a high quality protein being complete in the nine essential amino acids. If one or more amino acid is not present in sufficient amounts, the protein in your diet is considered incomplete, that can change very quickly with the addition of organ meats to your diet.

Free Range Chicken Heart Recipe's

Chicken hearts, like gizzards, benefit from long, slow cooking or a tenderizing marinade. Try this Asian inspired kebob recipe with Grass Fed Farms™ chicken hearts.

One pound Grass Fed Farms Chicken Hearts, Marinate for 1-2 hours in 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup sherry wine or rice wine, a couple of cloves of crushed garlic, a teaspoon of freshly ground pepper and a teaspoon of freshly ground ginger.Place 3-4 hearts on bamboo skewers that have been soaked in water and grill over charcoal.
