All of our livestock is processed by USDA approved facilities, vacuum packed and flash frozen, you receive the wholesome farm fresh goodness of natural grass fed farming.

Family Farms

All member family farms of Grass Fed Farms™ use all natural agricultural farming techniques, including permaculture, all natural practices, ecological design and provide natural grazing and living habitats to insure healthy animal welfare for our livestock. A key element in grass farming is the elimination of pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, hormones and all other chemical based agricultural principles so prevalent today. This results in superior products that offer you better taste with superior nutritional qualities.

Hillsboro Meats

Our chickens are an all heritage breed from the European Label Rouge genetic stock with a succulent taste and excellent meat quality. They are grown outdoors with a distinctive animal welfare production system that provides the birds with natural pasture, woodlands and shaded areas to enjoy a natural life without adding hormones or antibiotics. While they are not "certified" organic, they are grown with the same spirit and pastured poultry techniques.

Friz Farms

The Friz family of Huntingburg, Indiana provides our free range chicken eggs from primarily two breeds. The turken breed lays lovely brown eggs and do well in winter months, continuing to lay at times other breeds would stop. The auracana chickens also are known by the name of "Easter Egg" chicken because of their unique pastel colored eggs. Of course, they are raised all naturally without antibiotics, hormones, pesticides &c.

Stonewall Farm

Southern Indiana's premier grass farm is owned by Dr. Keith Cannon and is a family run operation, the daily operation of the farm is managed by the Cannon family including their four children as principle operators in various capacities. Stonewall Farm is located on the far west side of Evansville Indiana and features 100 acres of pasture for the raising of our livestock.
