Modern feedlots feed grain and hormones to cattle in order to fatten them up very fast, but their low acid digestive tracts can't process the high starch diet and in turn acidosis results in illness. This, then, is treated with massive doses of antibiotics - and the degenerative process continues all the way to your table. The result is a nutritionally deficient food with high fat and substandard quality based entirely upon a presupposition of intervention.

Cattle were designed as "ruminants," that is to say, as grazing animals with "cud" chewing digestive systems. By returning to a principle of a harmony of nature we grow cattle the "old fashioned" way. Through managed herd and flock rotation our livestock enjoy grazing on fresh green pastures and drinking clean water. We don't use hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, preservatives, irradiation or chemicals of any kind.
