Meat and eggs from pastured chickens are ideal for your health. Compared with factory farmed products, they offer you more "good" fats, and fewer "bad" fats. They are richer in antioxidants; including vitamins E, beta-carotene, and vitamin C. Furthermore, they do not contain traces of added hormones, antibiotics or other drugs. ⁽³⁾

Grass Fed Chicken Will Change Your Definition of "Taste Like Chicken!"

The flavor of truly pastured chicken is reminiscent of how chicken used to taste. For that reason you can stick with simple old fashioned recipes if you are having a busy day. Simply remove the giblets from the cavity, wash the chicken in cool water and pat dry. Rub the chicken all over with a good quality extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with salt and place in a roasting pan in a 375 degree oven. Let the chicken brown for 20-30 minutes and reduce heat to 325 degrees. Roast until the temperature of deep muscle in the thigh or breast reaches at least 165 degrees. Remove the chicken from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before carving. Now sink your teeth into a true delicacy and soon you'll have to redefine what "tastes like chicken" means!
